I was on the bus last night and you know me, I like to observe people. I noticed an older couple, it was standing room only and they got separated by other people looking for seats. When seats finally opened up, they sat together and continued to read their books. I looked out of the corner of my eye and saw the woman rubbing his neck/hair in a very loving/caring way. At that exact moment I said to myself; 'You know, public displays of affection should really be limited to the young.' Am I right?! If I wanted to see old hags go at it, I'd watch Sex and the City. Ha ha, I made a joke, an untimely joke as Sex and the City is off the air but a joke none the less.

What better way to start off the diary than with a very bitter observation. Hey, I calls 'em as I sees 'em.

The jury is still out on The Twilight Singers' CD that Rolling Stone magazine told me to buy. I mean, it's good, I'm listening to a great song off of it right now but I'm not sure if it warranted 'must have' status. They used another term than 'must have' - it escapes me. Oh well.

I'd like to send a special shout out to Visa and MasterCard this month. I got the bill for my radiator and some other stuff. My point is that it just really came too quick. It seems like every third month I have to go broke in order to survive. Thanks Visa, thanks MasterCard, thanks a lot.
