Friday I got back to Hoboken and hit the record store. I didn't find anything I really cared for, I was just looking for something to do. 99% of the time being alone is wonderful but when that 1% hits you, it stinks. I picked up a burrito and walked home.

That night, I wrote a new section for my website. Look on my toolbar for the '
bob's bio' section. On a site that's entirely devoted to me, I decided that it couldn't hurt to have even more of me, ha ha. It was fun to write and hey, it killed an evening. Thanks to Walter(Webmaster/friend) for changing some things for me.

Saturday I woke up around 10. It looked like a great day from my window. I was getting ready to leave to do my laundry, then Walter called me and we made plans to see a movie that night. So, I put the laundry down and didn't do anything.

I left my apartment around 6, got downstairs and it was raining! I had to go back up to get my umbrella. I'm almost out the door and I remember that I didn't have any change for the train, back up I went. Now, I'm running late and I didn't factor in the walk to the train. Two blocks from the train, I stopped, took out my cell, I was seconds from canceling because I was wet, late and just wanted to go home. This is classic Bob behavior and it must be stopped. I sucked it up and got on the train.

I met up with Walter and "Sally". We took a cab up to 68th Street to meet up with Jay and Tom. We saw
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind-- very good film. We sat in the balcony, in the very last row, which I love! You can see the whole screen, also, their were no jerks by us talking or anything, I had a cherry icee and popcorn -- it was a dream movie-going experience.

Afterwards there were plans to get something to eat but I wasn't aware of those plans, I wanted to go but they talked me into it, at least for a block. While they were figuring out where to eat I managed to make a graceful exit, "
OK, I'm going to go" -- ha ha. I went to Tower Records, I felt like I was living the New York lifestyle walking in the city and everything. I picked up the record I was talking about the other day from The Twilight Singers. Rolling Stone said it was a must have or something like that. I don't know, after one listen, it's OK. You know, sometimes don't you just want to throw everything away and listen to Tears for Fears? I'll have to give The Twilight Singers another listen.

I got home around
11:30 and had a slice.

Sunday I woke up around 9:30, jumped in the shower,
loaded up the laundry and drove to Nutley. While my clothes were drying, I walked over to Kohl's, picked up a shower curtain, some socks and a $23 pair of shoes. I drove to the A & P from there, got back to Hoboken and made some lunch. I cooked up one of those French bread pizzas. I never smelled anything burning and I swear it wasn't in the oven for more than 25 minutes -- here's what I got when I took out my pizza:
Gross!

What the heck? Thank goodness they come in a package of two. The second one turned out much better.
I got a brew, watched the first two Sopranos and relaxed. I cooked a steak for dinner, cleaned and that was about it.

Yep, that's all I got!
Have a great day. Don't forget to check out bob's bio!

Down for Whatever,
