Marvin Hamlisch has passed away.  Very sad!  In the 90's, I appeared regularly on the Late Show.  Marvin, who watched the show, stopped me on the street and we had a nice conversation.  I'll never forget that.  He was a genuinely nice guy and a very talented composer.  R.I.P.
