I'm proud of myself because the DLT, Taco Bell's Doritos Loco Taco, has been out for months and I still haven't tried it!  That's a huge achievement in my life, ha ha.

My diet is off the rails in all other areas.  Candy consumption is a joke.  Today I'm going to try and not eat any sweets.  I can do it.  So far, soda is my only successful conquest.  However, that was a big one.

Summer reading update:  I started reading Keith Richards' Life a few weeks ago.  I stopped reading it around chapter two.  I have nothing against Keith.  I may have read one rock autobiography too many, ha ha.  To be fair, it's really hard to compete against Slash's life, ha ha.

The Olympics are wearing me out!  Cara has watched all of NBC's prime-time coverage.  That means I've watched it too.  I get bored watching volleyball and running so I usually turn in "early."  Cara comes to bed after the coverage is over.  At that point she likes to fill me in on the winners and losers.  There is only one small problem with this system.  I've already fallen asleep!  She's talking to me about Phelps this and Phelps that.  I'm very groggy and just trying to comprehend why someone is talking to me about Michael Phelps at 12:10 AM.  It's really very funny.  Oh, we have fun.
