I had to purchase some ponchos earlier this week.  I was going to buy the cheap ones for $3.99 but then I saw the top-shelf ponchos and decided to splurge.  How could I tell they were top shelf, besides the fact they were $2 more?  By the picture.

I've never seen two people more excited by the threat of rain.  They have lived through this before and know the rain is no match for their brightly-colored ponchos.  The size was "one size fits most."  When I see that I think, am I going to make the cutoff for this garment?  Thankfully it fit.

Recently I saw this skateboard deck in a storefront:

It's a CaddyShack skate deck!  If I were 12 I would have saved and saved until I could afford this, ha ha.  OK, to be honest, this is how I would have "saved."  Hey Mom, I need $45 for a new skateboard!  Then my Mom would have said, "You're not getting a skateboard!  You'll crack your head open!"  At that point I'd go into my room, slam the door and eat a bag of potato chips.
