Hey weekend, I just kicked your a**!  How does it feel?  Ha ha.

Saturday night something "bad" happened.  Cara and I had a simple dinner at a hamburger stand.  I ordered a root beer float because I didn't think there were enough calories in my cheeseburger and fries, ha ha.  We walked to our table, the waitress brought me the float and then it hit me, root beer is soda!
CRAP!  I've been 100% soda free for months!  I didn't think this purchase through.  It was too late to send it back, so I drank it.  It was good, I enjoyed it.  But it was a silly mistake.  I haven't had any soda urges since, so I think I got away with this one.

Saturday night Walter and I saw "Prometheus."
I didn't know anything about this film going in.  Holy crap, it was pretty scary!  I won't give a full review because I don't want to spoil anything for you.  I'd give it 3 1/2 out of 5 stars.  It was nice to catch up with Walter.

Sunday I attempted to teach my nephew how to swim.

Who better to teach a 3-year-old how to swim than an adult who didn't learn how to swim until he was 26.  Ha ha.  With his family looking on and encouraging him, he kicked his legs in the water.  It was pretty cool.  Truthfully his Mom taught him how to swim.  I just held him up and took the glory, ha ha.  I'm only good at the fun stuff, like, lifting him up and letting him splash down.  He likes that.  I have to be careful not to let his face go under.  He does not like that, ha ha.

Sunday night I ate kale.  It's a vegetable.  To be a little more specific, I ate kale gratin.  Ingredients:  Kale, heavy cream and cheese.  Ha ha.  I truly have no idea what kale tastes like.  I think you could have substituted the kale with anything and it would have been good, ha ha!

Yesterday was Father's Day.  How do you celebrate Father's Day when you lost your Dad ten years ago?  You just remember all of the good times.  And they were all good times!  I wanted to post this photo yesterday but was having some computer problems:
Dad, Bob, George.
Awesome.  Thanks, Dad!

Have a nice day.
