My jury duty service is over.  Here's a timeline:

10:00 AM - I arrived for duty.  I sat in a big, empty room.

12:00 PM - We were called into another room and told they were trying to work out a deal.  We were free to go to lunch.

2:00 PM - We came back from lunch.

2:45 PM - We were called into another room and were told the case was settled.  It was a civil case.  The defendant said he had a verbal agreement to invest in a club.  The club owners had a different story.  They settled for $170,000.

I'm not going to lie or exaggerate, I went through hell.  (ha ha)  I'm glad it's over.  I'm proud I did my service.

What will I miss the most?  Talking to my fellow jurors, reading a book?  No, I'm going to miss D1:
Mmmmm, Chuckles.  On the way home, I saw this license plate:

Ha ha.  If you have to tell people you're a "KoolDude," you're probably not a Kool Dude.

Have an awesome weekend!
