Oh man, I'm taking a musical trip down memory lane. Picture it, late 90's, Napster was all the rage, the Internet was HOT and the buzz in the music industry was the MP3 format. I, of course, didn't follow the trend and instead invested everything in the Mini Disc format.

I bought blank Mini Discs, put my CD collection on the discs and got rid of my CDs...oops. Now, I'm making them into MP3s, with some sound quality loss (not much) but it's fun. It's like making a big mix tape. I found some cool stuff: Eighties by Killing Joke (12-inch dance version), Human by the Human League, some Power Station and some other gems. I wish I would have labeled my Mini Discs a little better, 2 out of 3 are labeled as "80's mix -- The Jams" HA HA!

I spent too much time on music last night, time got away from me (I'm posting this at 1:10 AM). I also talked on the phone with my friend Walter and my Mom. Sure my diary suffered but it's always good to talk to people.

Something CRAZY happened durning dinner last night. My friend, Lee, was eating some asparagus and then something stopped him dead in his tracks.

I'm talking about this
guy
(He has a cold)
Usually when you make a statement like that, it becomes a story about a half-eaten roach. I'm going to tell you right now, this isn't that kind of story. He held the asparagus to the light and asked me, "Who does this look like?" I responded, "Batman?" There was no argument, the damn asparagus looked like Batman! See for yourself:

ISN'T THAT AMAZING?! Come on, did you see any other websites today with vegetables that look like our greatest cartoon crime fighters? I didn't think so. Thanks for the story Lee. Honestly, if he would have taken that to The Star or The Globe, he'd be sitting on easy street.

I got an e-mail from the guy that won my Win My BeefLog contest a few weeks back. He wanted to know where his beeflog was. If I had a dollar for everytime I got that e-mail, I'd be a rich guy. I sent it off dude, I sent a beeflog to Japan, I'm guessing that kind of item has to go through a lot of check points. If it gets there, congrats, if not, I'm sorry -- I did my best. See, people really win on bobborden.com but they don't always get their stuff!

That's it for today. Try to get over the HUMP!

Hugs,

Bob
