I woke up on Thanksgiving around 5:30 AM. By 6:30, I was walking to the PATH train, halfway to the train, a bird took a dump on my jacket! Some people look at this as a sign of luck, I'm not one of those people. It turned out to be the perfect metaphor for my day. It was a tough day, the only thing that pulled me through was the thought of buying chinese food and chilling out in my apartment. I get back to Hoboken and every Chinese place is closed! They were open last year, I couldn't believe it. For dinner, I ended up having a 10-piece chicken McNuggets meal. Not my best Thanksgiving. I did have the option to spend that night with friends but I just wanted to be home.

Friday I woke up at 5 AM to take advantage of all the BLACK FRIDAY DEALS!

BLACK FRIDAY!

Ha ha...can you imagine? I woke up at 11 and sat on the sofa all day. I was wiped out. I think I may have played Halo 2 with my nephews but to be honest, I don't remember. I left my apartment around 6:00 to get some Chinese food, of course, they were open, thus making my meal bittersweet. The high point on Friday came when I bought my nephews the 'IT' gift for the holidays. I got it for $20 less than you can get it other places online -- sweet deal!

Saturday I forced myself to leave my apartment.I did the usual laundry, A & P thing. I played Halo 2 with my nephews and that was about it.

Sunday I woke up to my phone being all crazy. Static prevented me from getting online. I tried to fix it by unplugging stuff but it didn't work. I called the phone people and they said it's due to the rain. I had that same problem years ago. It's time to move or do something different with my life -- I just keep going around in the same stupid circle! I don't know. After I called, my line started working right but they're still going to check out the line. I think that's it for today's diary. Sorry I didn't have anything exciting, I'm just not in a very good mood these days. Blame it on the rain.

Have a wonderful Monday.

My best,

Bob
