I start today's diary with great news! I'm on the Pittsburgh Steelers' Season Ticket list! I'm only number...

Oh, never mind
Well, do you have any idea what Sunday is? If you guessed 'Halloween' - you'd be correct but as I hate Halloween, that's not what I had in mind. I was thinking about the BOBBORDEN.COM 4TH ANNIVERSARY!!!!!!!!!

bobborden.com is
4 years old

To all the people that said I could never keep this up for 4 years, to all the Madison Avenue FAT CATS that refuse to advertise because of my controversial views, to all the women who rejected me over the last four years I say this: SCREW YOU!!!! I'm NUMBER ONE, BobBorden.com is #1 -- I did it for 4 years without you and with my rage intact, I can do it for 4 more! Tell your friends!

I may get a haircut today. I was thinking on the subway today that hair cutting pretty much stays the same. Sure, there are perms and styles but no one's doing anything crazy. Puff Daddy sports a mohawk every now and then. That's bold, that's what I'm talking about. it all comes back to society, I guess. Sean Combs can do it because he's rich, if Joe businessman does it, he'd get stoned. My point? I don't know -- you do know I'm been writing this crap for four years! The worst part of getting a haircut for me right now is they have to cut around the bald spot. And I know they're doing it! Then when they give you the mirror shot, they avoid that area, it's so painful. But what can you do?

I'm on a serious music kick right now. I put 10 gigs of music on my ipod the other night. 10 gigs = 2586 songs...I could listen to it straight for 6.9 days and never repeat a song, pretty cool. And I have 17.76 gigs left! The girl in the record store this week suggested I buy: The Kinks, Steve Earle, Old 97's, Drive by Truckers and something else I can't remember right now. She was on the money with every pick. I bought something cool last night, VHS or Beta, they put it in the Electronica/Dance category but it's very enjoyable. I picked up some Buzzcocks, they're an older band but new to me. I heard one of their songs in the Ghost World film. And I love Kings of Leon, good stuff! OK, that's it for Bob's Music Beat today, ha ha.

My Mom sent me a Halloween e-card today. I actually felt like I was 6 years old. Halloween card? Come on Mom! I guess it's the thought that counts, I forget that sometimes.

OK, that's enough for a Friday. Have a great weekend and have a great BOBBORDEN.COM 4TH ANNIVERSARY!

Sincerely your internet friend,

Bob
