Friday night, I left work around 6:30 PM and headed back to Hoboken. I picked up a beef burrito, walked home and watched TV all night.
Saturday morning I woke up around 10:30, that was some great sleeping in! But it was so gloomy out, I wasn't inspired to do anything. I sat on my sofa and coined a new phrase; Bob's Weekend Coma - A period of time where Bob does nothing but watches TV and overeats.
Sunday I woke up around 9:00. I was happy to get up "so early" because I still had laundry and shopping to take care of - I wanted to get it done before kickoff at 1:00. I headed out to do my laundry, nothing new there. But on the way home something fun happened. I was in the left lane at a red light. The light changes, I go, so does the U Haul to my right. Except, he doesn't stay in his lane, he wants to get on the onramp ahead of us, which means he's in the process of cutting me off. I hit the gas and get around him, he honks his horn. I almost got in an accident because of him and he's honking the horn at me?
I honked back and then stuck my middle finger out my window, which I later learned, antagonizes people, ha ha. I get to the next red light and, of course, he pulls up next to me.

His finger was up, he was very upset and he said he was going to kill me, ha ha. He was with his buddies so I didn't take this seriously, I did however, curse him and his mother out -- it was great! And I got in the last word, which in these kind of things is always the best way to leave it.
The rest of the day, 'Bob's Weekend Coma' was lifted. I just felt alive, that exchange got the old blood flowing again. I went to the A & P, cleaned my apartment, took out my air conditioner, cleaned my living room, bathroom and much, much more.
I guess I owe that guy a thank you but thankfully we didn't exchange contact information, ha ha.
I watched football for the rest of the day and that was pretty much my weekend. I could have gone to dinner with my friend Tiffany on Saturday but I need to save my money, so I passed. All in all, I had a pretty good weekend.
