I don't really have to write a diary today, do I? I have a feeling that no one reads my website anymore. I think I took two weeks off and everyone forgot about good old bobborden.com. If you're still out there, give me a shoutout on my message board.

I'm writing this at 12 AM on Thursday night.
Exactly 24 hours ago, I witnessed a small riot, right outside my window.
Riot in Hoboken
(File photo)

Two groups of kids were at odds, it was trash day and things were thrown. I heard some people yelling and didn't think much of it - then they kicked it up a little. I turned off my lights, ran to my window and pulled the curtains around my face.
I saw a guy with a chair over his head walking down the middle of the street. He threw the chair and the other youths threw bottles. It was small but pretty hardcore. I was going to call 911 but then I thought, "what if I miss something good?" ha ha.

Glass was shattering from somewhere out of my view, then a
cop car drove the wrong way up a one-way street. The youths ran, then 4 to 5 more cars pulled up - it was very exciting. I felt like an old woman peeking behind my curtains but the last thing you want to do in a riot is stick out like a turd in a punch bowl. Anyway, I'm sure that's all water under the bridge and the two groups are laughing about it tonight, ha ha.

I missed the first half of President Bush's speech but I did catch the ending.
It was pretty moving. That's what I want in my President, emotion. It's hard being a Republican in this burg, let me tell you. When I find someone around these parts that share my views, they really stand out.

You know what I ate about an hour ago?
A taco. I know that sounds bad but I was really hungry and I picked it up on the way home. I talked on the phone for a bit and then reheated that sucker around 11 PM. Mmmmmmmm, TACO.

Time for a new feature to bobborden.com, I call it;
BobBorden.com's Photo Representation of the Last Two Paragraphs. The first paragraph I talked about basically being an American and the second was about the taco. Here's the photo of those topics:

That was
BobBorden.com's Photo Representation of the Last Two Paragraphs -- tell your friends! That photo makes me dizzy. OK, you heard the photo.Listen, have a great weekend.

Sincerely,
