Friday night got off to a great start, we went out to celebrate Jay's birthday. Jay, Tom, "Sally", Walter and myself headed down to Roy's. Wait, you don't know about Roy's?
Roy's Hawaiian Fusion Cusine is a mix of the bold flavors of the Asian Pacific Rim with the sauces and textures of European cooking.

I had the orange scented blackened bass, with some slices of Kobe beef. Sweet Lord, it was
SOgreat! From the appetizers to Roy's melting hot chocolate soffle, they did it up right. I even tried (and enjoyed) a new drink, Roy's secret mai tai. A great birthday dinner was had by all, and I think Jay had a good time too, ha ha.

I made it back home around 11:30 and noticed a slight tickle in my throat,
not good.

Saturday I woke up around 8:30 and did not feel well. I had an appointment to look at some new neighborhoods with my friend/Realtor, Tiffany. I have never seen someone
SO busy. She made more phone calls in the hour I was with her than I've made in the last two months. But I did come away with a better understanding of where I should look. I'm thinking about West New York, that's in New Jersey, confusing, I know.

After that
I chilled out on my sofa for a few hours. Then, I walked to the laundry mat to get that out of the way. It was 70 degrees out and inside the laundry mat, it felt like 80 degrees. I was sweating because I was wearing the wrong thing, I felt like I had Malaria. During the drying cycle, I walked back home to change my shirt.

That night, I got a chicken tostada and finally watched the first season of
The Office. Very funny. I went to bed around 11:30.

I got up at
3am, then at 6am, then 8am, until I finally got up at 11. Having a cold sucks. I felt achy, sore and exhausted all day. I forced myself to go to the A & P and to Staples. I wanted to get a file so I can get all my papers in order. I also wanted to pick up a paper shredder. The shredders range from $34 to $249. $34 is too cheap, by the time you get up to the shredder you really want, around $65, you ask yourself, do I really need a shredder? I like my file though.

I went home and coughed up stuff for the rest of the day,
disgusting.
