My photo of the day is my good friend Tim from Ohio. He's a State Trooper and a hell of a nice guy. He made the paper the other day because he's promoting proper child safety seat installation.

Back in High School, I was "too cool" to wear a seat belt and he swore to me that if I EVER drove past him unbuckled, he'd write me up. I believed him and have been wearing the belt ever since. Damn good friend. Sorry the photo's so bad but I took a photo of a photo. Garbage in, garbage out. A scanner would be a good investment someday for bobborden.com.

I was walking through the bus station yesterday and saw that no one won the lottery. I didn't even get to check out my tickets! That's happened to me before. I had it all planned out too. Go to work, check my numbers and figure out who I can buy and sell -- ha ha. Just kidding, sort of -- I did win $5 on mega millions and pick 6. That pick 6 is a sweet deal. Pick 6 numbers out of, well, six -- ah, nevermind.

I find myself with nothing to talk about today.

I've been working more and that doesn't leave much time for something interesting to happen in the real world. I did do something funny last night. I was walking home and ahead of me I could see a girl doing something by a park bench. As I walked closer, I could see that she had a crazy amount of packages that she was trying to organize/juggle for her walk home. She knew she was pushing the limits of what one person could carry. I got to the bench as she was loading up her last bag and I waited because I thought something was going to fall. She saw me, laughed (Because she knew she was pushing her luck too) and thanked me. But she made it without my help. I'm sure those packages made someone very happy. I don't know what that last sentence means. I was just trying to put a bow on this paragraph. They can't all be winners.

OK, that's it! Have a great day.

Stay beautiful,

Bob
