I think the top story today would have to be the hurricane. I don't know if I ever wrote about this but I fancy myself quite the storm chaser. After years of tracking, studying and learning about storms, I have a pretty good idea what things will look like when the hurricane hits land:

Such a long way to go for that, oh, I'm exhausted.

Hey, it's Thursday! My weekend is going to be off the hizzle, shiz nap! It's always nice to build things up in my mind. Otherwise I'd be writing about my boring plans to watch TV in my underwear this weekend. With the hizzle thing, I leave all my options open.

I went to the A & P last night. If felt kind of nice to do my shopping at night. It felt like I was real person there for a little while -- just and ordinary Joe, punching the time clock, picking up something to eat.

OK, I think that's all I have for today. I'm taking Friday off so I won't have a new diary up until Monday, FYI.
