I was skeptical at first, mostly because I don't like new things, but I have to say Raising Victor Vargas was pretty good. After the film we went to a restaurant called Trailer Park. The inside is decorated like a, you guessed it, Trailer Park. Black velvet paintings abound. The music was great but my chilidog wasn't anything to write home about. Thumbs down on that place. It was a very good, relaxing day.
Friday night, I watched Jackass The Movie. There were some really funny moments but overall, it was just OK. Those guys are nuts!
Saturday I woke up early because some jackasses renovating a building were throwing stuff off the roof -- Lovely waking up to things crashing to the ground. I headed to the sofa and turned on the tube. I watched The Bad News Bears. I forgot what a great film that is, very entertaining.
After that, I got a shower, gathered my laundry and drove to Nutley. As I was hitting highway speeds, I kicked it up into 5th gear and it wouldn't budge. Man, what now?! I pulled over in a Best Buy parking lot and ran through my gears. I could get it into 5th but I had to put a lot of muscle in it. I headed back on the highway and got it into 5th gear. So, the transmission is shifting fine but the mechanism that shifts the transmission is giving me some resistance when I shift into 5th and reverse. 1 through 4 gears shifts as usual. I'll have a garage check it this week. There's always something.
Back to Nutley. I was standing in front of the laundry mat and a West Coast Chopper drove up and parked. I asked the guy if that was the real deal and he said something like, "Yes, it costs around $50,000 and I have 3 of them." It was a really beautiful bike, silver, polished chrome -- a work of art. But upon further inspection by yours truly, I don't think it was a real West Coast Chopper. It said "Texas Choppers" on the bottom tip of the gas tank. And it has some other un-West Coast Chopper like features. I found a "Texas Choppers" Website and there was that style of bike. It was $25,000. Who the hell is this guy trying to impress?! He bought a $25,000 bike and put on some West Coast Chopper parts. Parts don't make the bike. If I put a Harley gas tank on a moped, it doesn't make it a Harley! Then again, I could always be wrong.
Saturday night Bobby got a little crazy! I had pork chops and stuffing for dinner. I used one of those "pork chop helpers" in a kit. It was really easy and really tasty. From there, I had a few Italian ices, some cookies, some cheese curls and about 2 cans of Wild Cherry Pepsi -- I have to cut myself off, I can't keep doing this. I also watched 12 Monkeys, great flick!
OK, from this point on, it should be noted that I'm drunk. I had a lovely Easter dinner with Tiffany, Kipley and Karen. Because I can't really form complete thoughts right now, here's a photo form the festivities:

Easter '03!
Oh man, did I have a good time. Hopscotch jump rope. Oh MacGyver!
That's it? %hat's it!
God Bless America.
