Hello, hello, hello. Purple Rain could very well be the greatest soundtrack every produced. First, it rocks, second, it has some gut-wrenching ballads and third, it rocks. What more do you need? It's still current; it doesn't feel dated. How many records can you say that about?! I talked about this before but Prince put out a live CD set last holiday season - the damn thing costs $57! Damn Prince, help a brother out! I want it but can't justify spending that much. I don't understand why he just didn't put out a kick-butt DVD? Oh well.

I did some research on my shifting problems and it looks like I'm going to have to take it to Aamco. Damn Damn Damn! I'm getting an oil change this week from the garage on my block, I told him my findings and he thought that was the way to go. I'm going to take it to Aamco and I'm already bracing myself for this: "Well, it looks like you only need a new Robinson flange, parts and labor, you're looking at $750." I know it's coming and there's nothing I can do. I'm starting to wonder if I truly need a car. I do only take it out on the weekends. SIGH!

In other mechanical news, my damn phone machine is on the outs.

I'm getting messages from people that left messages two days ago! That's not a joke. It's so strange. So, if anyone called me and is waiting for me to call back, I didn't get the message.

I'm stuck on this damn Legend of Zelda game. I'm on a section where I have to turn into a bird and find a hidden cave. I turned into the bird, found the cave but I can't do anything as the bird but fly. So, I'm in the cave as a bird and I can't open up the damn treasure chest to find the map or the magic potion that will help me move along. It's maddening!

I'm on the bus last night. We're driving out of the Lincoln Tunnel. The Hoboken exit is right there, you can't miss it but guess what? The dude missed it! I've been here for seven and a half years and this was the first time that's happened. It was like a Twilight Zone episode. The guy didn't know where the heck he was! We ended up, thanks to passengers, turning around up by West New York which is one or two towns over from Hoboken. At a certain point, I felt bad for the guy but it just makes me wonder: what was his deal?

That's it for today. Have a great day and I'll see you on the flip side.

Hugs,

Bob
