Welcome back! I didn't write everyday I was away. So, instead, here's something I like to call...

Highlights of Bob Borden's Vacation
by Bob Borden (Not in order of importance) :

My Nephew Jacob sitting on my lap while we watch The Grinch that Stole Christmas (The Cartoon - not the movie) -- I had to sit through the movie version earlier in the week. Man, Howard really dropped the ball on that one. That reminds me, back in Ohio on someone's lawn was a 6 foot inflatable figure of The Grinch. I couldn't believe it -- The Grinch isn't a symbol of Christmas!!!!!! People man, people.

Walking with my Mom

Helping my friend Tim with his Picture in Picture feature on his TV (I was unsuccessful)

Rediscovering Orange Julius, Mmmmmmmmmm.

Rediscovering Ovaltine, "Tastes Great & Great For You" -- If I drank one glass, I drank 100 but I used 2% milk so I think that's OK.

Hanging out with my nephews and niece, playing games and just having fun.

I drove up to Cleveland to make up with an old friend.

Buying and wrapping gifts for my nephews and niece.

And that was pretty much it.

A nephews and niece heavy week but I like it like that. I drove back to Hoboken on Saturday. Bad day to drive -- Rain/snow the whole way. You really had to pay attention. I had to get some new snow tires when I was in Ohio, so, I've never felt safer. My cats really pissed me off.

Billy was "talking" for the first hour and a half. So, I let him out at a rest stop so he could do his business -- while I went inside to do my business, ha ha. Anyway, when I came back I saw my other cat Evelyn walk into the trunk. I had to open the trunk to get her but when I did that she went back into the car! She was freaked -- when I finally got a hold of her she scratched my hand and arm and hid under the dash. I was so angry! I finally got her, put her in the cage, put a blanket over their cage so I wouldn't have to see them and I took off, arm bleeding and swearing at myself. I may just have to leave them with a lot of food and water because I can't go through that again. For the first time on this vacation I was able to sleep in yesterday. Sweet, sweet sleep. My Mom gave me a whole bunch of loose change and I took it to the old Coinstar machine yesterday. Only $41.52 -- I thought there'd be more than that! Damn machines, AAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!! Internet acting, thank you, thank you very much.

Seriously, those machines are great! OK, that's it! Back to normal tomorrow. God Bless America!
