Hello! I'm back at work after a short break. I had a good Christmas Eve with the family. It was weird without my Dad but we got through it OK. I took my mind off of it by living through the kids. I teased my nephews that I was getting them Barbie dolls for Christmas. The first two gifts I gave them were girl dolls. Man, did they get mad at me! It was great! I love those kids! Christmas Eve my friend got into an accident and that really scared the crap out of me! As of right now, he's OK, thank God. That really put things into perspective for me.

McDonald's was closed yesterday, don't get me wrong, it was Christmas and it's good that they had it off but Bobby likes to start off a long trip with a sausage, egg and cheese McMuffin! I had to go to a Sheetz instead! The lady behind the counter said, "Do you want this on a muffin?" I said, "What are my options?" With a little bit of attitude, she said, "Bagel or muffin." It was Christmas so I let the attitude slide but here's what I would have said, "Sweets, I don't need the attitude, I've never ordered a meal in a Sheetz before." I should have said that, it would have been a nice little gift to myself. Sheetz! I was washing dishes last night and I stabbed my thumb with a fork! I don't mind telling you that I felt betrayed by myself and my fork, ha ha. OK, I think that will about do it for today. I'm sure no one is checking this out anyway. You're probably out shopping, enjoy! Tune in tomorrow for my last diary of 2001 and for my famous year end list! God Bless America!
