We took the Paramount Studios tour.
It was very informative and entertaining. We saw Glee creator Ryan Murphy walking around...but he doesn't interact with the tours. Lame. The tours watch your shows!
I've always wanted to eat at Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles. Their signature dish is, you guessed it, chicken and waffles.

Ha ha! I love it!
Next we drove up to Santa Barbara.
It's a beautiful town/area. We enjoyed a lovely dinner. For the first time, I tried pork belly. It was pretty good! It reminded me of a pork rib...but cooked with a little more finesse.
We walked around town and took the bus down to the pier. Then, for lunch, we ate at La Super-Rica Taqueria. It was Julia Child's favorite taco stand. It was pretty great! From there we decided to take a road trip to Los Olivos. What's in Los Olivos? Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch. My goal, to get my photo taken in front of his gate. We took a scenic drive on a mountainous road. The Nissan Versa was crying up those hills! We made it, finally, only to discover the ornate gate isn't off the road! You have to get through another gate to get to the fancy gate! We were so pissed off we didn't even stop. We turned around and headed back. It was pretty funny. I was surprised just how in the middle of nowhere this ranch is located. Odd.
We hit In-N-Out burger one more time before getting on the plane. Back to reality. We had a great trip.
Have a nice day.
