Hello! We're having a rainy day today. Yuk. But It was a beautiful weekend so I can't complain. What did I do this weekend? Cara was away with her college friends...I was flying solo...things usually get a little crazy when I'm alone. How crazy?
Barrel of cheese balls crazy! Being alone reminded me of my loser days in Hoboken. Yuk.
After some cheese balls I did make myself useful. About two years ago Cara ask me to put some shelves in her closet. There was only one shelf in there. I took a look at the project back then and decided it was a little beyond my skill set. After reassessing the situation I decided to give it a shot. I bought wood at Home Depot, got home and started cutting with my manual saw. I gave up after about five minutes. It was looking a little amateurish. Then I drove to Sears and bought their cheapest jigsaw. Eureka! I was back in business. I worked on the shelves until 9:30 PM. The next morning, in the light of day, I checked out my work. The shelves looked uneven! The original shelf wasn't level and I was measuring from the bottom of the wall. I was going to leave it but decided that wouldn't fly. I readjusted the shelves so they looked even...even though I don't believe they truly are. I'm no carpenter.
Long story short, Cara loves the shelves, they look even and I burned some calories!
Have a nice day.
PS If you'd like to buy a slightly used, low end, jigsaw drop me a line. ha ha.
