Brrrrrrrrr, it's a cold one this morning.  You know what I love?  My meat thermometer.

You jam the sensor into the middle of whatever you're cooking and bam! instant feedback.  I believe I can ignore cooking times completely and just go by the temperature.  It says 160 degrees is the perfect temp for beef but I wonder what the best temperature is for maximum flavor and moistness.  I'll have to do a little more research.  Back to the gadget.  This thing has a separate remote.  It allows you to monitor your cooking from another room!  That is awesome.  This thing makes me want to throw my iphone into the sewer!  Ha ha.

Cara and I watched Mad Men last night.  I told her the computer interwebs stunk from mentions of "Zou Bisou Bisou."  I told her how I thought the performance was good but not worthy of ALL that attention.  Cara took that as a sign to sing "Zou Bisou Bisou" whenever she could.  Lesson learned.  I don't need to be so critical about everything on TV, ha ha.
