When I was a kid, I LOVED heavy metal.  But there were some bands that were a little too heavy for me.  Bands who dabbled in the occult scared me.  Nobody scared me more than King Diamond.

King is a singer from Denmark.  He's known for his sweet falsetto and demonic growls.  What made me think of KD?  Recently a Jeep passed me.  In the back window the driver had a HUGE King Diamond decal.

My first thought was, wow, that guy is a big King Diamond fan.  My second thought was, I wonder if that's King Diamond himself!  But King seems like he's too modest for such shameless self promotion. Here's a classic King Diamond video (after the commercial):
