Friday night Cara took me out for a lovely birthday dinner. We ate at Bistro Citron (in Roslyn). It was SO tasty. I ate mussels for my appetizer and for my entree I had Fricasée de Coquille et de Gamba. It tasted as good as it sounds. Thank you, Cara!
On Saturday we spent the day (and night) at a party in New Jersey. 3PM until 12:30AM, I drank two beers. If you need a designated driver, I'm your man. I say that with pride.
Sunday was a hard day. I was so tired! I didn't even sleep in. I was up at 7. I drove to McDonald's for a bonus birthday treat. Sausage, egg & cheese! Mmmmmm.
Sunday night we had family over for another birthday dinner. Cara made this delicious baked pasta dish. It has cheese, prosciutto, mushrooms, etc. [Mom, this is the dish we made for you.] There was a lot of chopping going on. Cara worked very hard and I think she was more tired than I was. Thanks again, Cara!
