I was in Steubenville, Ohio last week.  I had a great time with my family.  I didn't have a great time looking around my old neighborhood.  The city or the power company (or both) decided to cut down all of the trees next to the power lines.  The block I grew up on doesn't look like I remembered.  They didn't even grind the stumps!  There were so many trees, I never noticed the power lines.  Now all you see are power lines.  What a mistake.

Mom, you shouldn't read the next section.

I was driving back to New York on Saturday.  I was in New Jersey, driving in the left lane.  The car to the right of me, without warning, started to turn into me!  I honked my horn but they kept coming over.  I had a few choices:  1.  Let them hit me.  2. Slam on my brakes and get rear-ended.  3.  Use the median to my advantage.  I chose number three.  I got on the grass, kept the wheel straight and avoided an accident.  My heart was pumping like a jackrabbit!  I believe I caught up with this person, I believe it was a young girl.  I'm not 100% sure.  I didn't have time to get her license plate.  She could have been texting or not paying attention.  It was crazy.

When I got back to Long Island, the traffic was a welcome break:

Ha ha.  Have a nice day.
