Here's a good/odd story. I pulled into the Rite Aid parking lot last night. I saw an SUV quickly back up and hit a parked Volvo! I looked to see who was driving the SUV and no one was behind the wheel. I kept looking and then a woman, who looked like she fell and was trying to use her brakes with her hands, got up from the driver's side floor. I walked over to see if she was OK and she quickly got in the seat and sped back to her original parking spot. I thought she was going to take off! I was ready to snap a photo!
But she got out and she was in shock. She said she couldn't stop. No kidding! She didn't want me to call anyone. She went in Rite Aid to find the owner. I snapped a photo of her license plate in case she split. I came back to my car about 15 minutes later and her car was still there. So I feel pretty confident that she did the right thing. The Volvo's driver's side front fender was damaged. The only thing that stopped the SUV was the Volvo. I still don't know exactly how she did what she did. Crazy.
