The trial I was assigned to starts tomorrow. Today, to bone up on our judicial system, I plan on watching: 12 Angry Men, To Kill A Mockingbird, A Few Good Men, The Verdict, ...And Justice For All and My Cousin Vinny. I WILL be ready for this case. Ha ha. BTW, DO NOT ASK ME TO SHARE THE DETAILS OF THIS CASE!
I was sitting in the jury pool yesterday and a woman walked in late. She was carrying a baby. Now what are the odds she'll have to serve?
She might as well have brought in a sign that read, "PLEASE DON'T PICK ME, I HAVE A BABY!"
I brought a book with me to pass the time. Damn if I couldn't get into it. I hate when that happens. Thank goodness I had my iphone. Heaven forbid I should be unentertained for an hour, ha ha.
I'm on a pretty good meal-cooking streak this week. Monday I cooked a pork and spinach stir-fry. Tuesday I cooked ginger-coconut shrimp. Today I'm going to make baked chicken meatballs. You can see the recipe HERE.
Speaking of food, Masterchef is over. It was pretty good. I may have said this before, Gordon Ramsey could make a show about cooking hot dogs and I'd probably watch.
Hey, I have to run. If I want to look good for court tomorrow, I'll need to prep my tuxedo.
