Cara and I cooked ourselves an amazing dinner last night.  She cooked Scallops Provencal and I cooked green beans and bacon!  The recipe for the scallops was from Ina Garten.  They were so amazing!  Damn! My green beans were pretty good too.  Who knew scallops were so easy to cook.  Yum!

How about this heat wave, whew!  I was going to load up on groceries but I'd bet anything the power is going to fail pretty soon.  To illustrate how hot it is, I've been looking for an old photo I took in front of the world's largest thermometer.  I can't find it and it's driving me nuts!  Such is life.
