I had a pretty good weekend. Cara (wife) was away for a girl's weekend. To clarify, her being away WAS NOT why I had a good weekend. When it comes to food, Cara keeps me honest. No breakfast desserts, no Baked Alaska, no between snack snacks. I didn't go nuts but I did get to eat some things I've been craving. Friday night I ate a Gyro. It was great!

Saturday I went to Walter and "Sally's" housewarming party in New Jersey. I saw a lot of old friends and had a great time. The highlight for me was this moment, watch:

That was great! Thanks Walter and "Sally". After the party I hit my old stomping grounds, Hoboken. I used to go to this Indian restaurant, Karma Cafe. I ordered a Crawfish Masala (to go). By the time I got home, an hour and a half later (traffic!), it was still warm! It was so great. I dipped my plain nan (bread) in the Masala, I was in heaven.

I was driving on the Long Island Expressway last week. A big rock hit my window. Thankfully it didn't do any damage. Or so I thought. Here's what my windshield looked like the next day:
Crack! I have a bug/rock deflector on my car but I think it may be deflecting rocks on to my windshield! This is my second crack in less than six months. Such is life.

Time for a new feature to bobborden.com, guess the destroyed car:I'll have the answer tomorrow.

Have a nice day.
