Not a lot of people know this but having a cesspool replaced/installed can really wreak havoc on your grass. Heaven forbid you leave a large pile of dirt on your front lawn, ha ha. To save some cash, I decided to seed the lawn myself. After talking to my neighbor and a guy at Home Depot, I was ready to start my project. I may have picked the windiest and coldest day but you know what I always say, if you can't plant grass seed in the third week in April, when can you plant it? Instead of telling you about all of the supplies, I'll just say this: Afterwards my nose was clogged with soil, fertilizer, lime, grass seed and peat moss. This job took about 4 hours, whew!

I talk to my lawn before I go to bed but so far, no grass. They say it will take about 3 weeks before I see anything. I'll keep you posted.

Time to answer last week's "Where was this photo taken?" contest.

Where was this photo taken?
If you guessed the dentist's office, YOU'RE CORRECT! Thank you for entering. A t-shirt will be sent out to Billy "Bruce" Springjoel of Turnstile, Nebraska! Congratulations!

Have a nice day.
