A Cold Purple Tear Falls in Minnesota

I'm not talking about Brett Favre. It's hard to care about a guy who keeps passing victory away. I'm talking about America's Beethoven, Prince.

I feel bad for the guy. He followed the Vikings the whole season, attended some games and even wrote a song about them!

Now what does he have to look forward to, the Minnesota Twins? It's going to be a long winter.

I watched more figure skating this past weekend than I care to admit. To be honest, I enjoyed it. There was a 10-year-old skater, Nathan Chen. He was amazing.

I leave you today with a vegetable lesson.

This a beet.

That may have seemed obvious to you but I went shopping for parsnips and came home with two beets. The "parsnips" sign was so close to the beets. Crazy world. Parsnips taste pretty good. Who knew?
