The Kenmore canister
vacuum cleaner.Don't get me wrong, it works as it should. It sucks up dirt like a champ. But dragging it from room to room is a pain! After you clean your area, you pull the hose (that sounded dirty) attached to the canister and it charges towards you with a mind of its own. Most of the time, it slams into the wall. When I go from wood to carpet, there's a different attachment. This adds time to my cleaning duties. Time I could use better elsewhere: video games, working out or reading. Okay, I made those last two up.
The solution? The upright vacuum cleaner. I had one in Hoboken but a midnight move and a small car forced me to leave it behind. Sorry, Mom (it belonged to her). Now that I think about it, can an upright work on carpet and wood? You'd think the bristles would scratch the wood. Hmmmmm. Maybe a solution isn't as easy as I think.
I bet that Dyson guy has a vacuum cleaner that could clean different surfaces. He's brilliant. He made a better mousetrap. Just look at him, he's working on improving his vacuum as we speak:
I have to get back to cleaning.
