But I can't really complain as the last two weeks/summer have been the best times I've had in a long time. Part of that is due to the company of a lovely woman, part of that is due to quality time with my friends and part of that is due to trying new things.
I can't talk about the lovely woman due to the jinx factor but good Lord, if I could, I'd fill a thousand pages. I loved hanging with "Sally," Walter, Tom and Jay. We wined and dined in the Hamptons. We even had dinner with Roy Scheider (Jaws)...OK, he was at the NEXT table but still, ha ha. How long have I been telling you that the Hamptons is the playground to the rich and famous?!
Walter & "Sally" were kind enough to invite us to a day of boating last week. Words can't describe this kind of generosity...

In an effort to keep trying new things, I got on a tube! Here's my whole tubing history:
1. Calm before the storm.2. I'm doing it!
3. Damn.
As long as it took to take those photos is how long I lasted on that tube, ha ha! I was going to get back on but my arms had nothing else to give. Fun, fun, fun! Thanks again to "Sally" & Walter!
I did that 3 days ago and I'm still sore! That and the choppy water did me in. Turns out, choppy water is not a boat's friend.
That's enough for the first day back. I leave you today with GREAT news, my friends Kipley and Karin had a son!
