It's too hot to sleep! This very well might be the year where I move my bed into the living room so I can be close to the AC (I think that must be the Hoboken equivalent to having a junked car on your front lawn, ha ha). Now my AC sounds like a small plane taking off (10 years old) -- so I don't know what the hell to do.

Yesterday I talked about my near-death swimming experience. Today, I'll share my near-death boating story. Have you ever been in a canoe? Walter sat in the middle and I sat behind him. We paddled off and it was the most unstable thing I've ever been on. If I would have sneezed, we would have gone in the drink.

Walter in canoe

After the real fear of capsizing, twice...I had Walter take me back to dry land. Emasculating? A little but I didn't care...I have some more living to do!

Short and sweet today as I think no one is reading bobborden.com this summer.

Be real --
