I know I've been crying poor this week, hmmmmm, how do I say this? I'm about to bring up a new topic and I have to say, I feel like a hypocritical rogue (thank you online dictionary). Here we go:

Hey, my new shirt (impulse buy) got here yesterday! Thus answering my question of why I'm broke, ha ha (laugh through the pain Bobby). Anyway, holy crap, I LOVE THIS SHIRT!

Gary Yamamoto never
looked THIS good!

For the backstory on this shirt, you can read my 4/18/06 diary. I'd describe this as a million-dollar shirt. Meaning, if I had a million dollars and didn't have to answer to anyone...I'd buy hundreds of these shirts and wear the same thing everyday. And I'd buy my Mom a house, ha ha. I'm 36 years old (sigh!) and I STILL love getting stuff in the mail. What a great feeling.

I'm on the bus last night sitting next to a guy, he's reading a motorcycle magazine. I just happen to have my copy of Long Way Round, the GREAT Ewan McGregor & Charley Boorman documentary/series.

Long Way Round
(Please tell me you've seen this by now!
It's only $13 on Amazon!)

So, I struck up a conversation with him. He hasn't seen Long Way Round, so I gave him the hard sell. We had a nice talk, which in this day and age of cell phones, ipods and just total assholes, was very refreshing. The fine art of talking to someone is thankfully still free. ARE YOU LISTENING HOLLYWOOOD?! (That makes no sense, I was so close to making a point and I just crossed the line.)

So that's all I know today. Special thanks to Pam for taking the photos of me in the fish shirt. Have a good one.

Best,

Bob
