Friday I can't really remember what I did but if I were a betting man, and I am, I'd say it was a combo of x-box live, TV and eating a burrito.

Saturday I was out the door by 10. I went to the DMV to get a title for my "new" car.

Bob's getting rid
of the Jeep

I haven't talked about my new ride up until now because it wasn't a done deal. Well, now it's a done deal. I love the Jeep but she's old and really, anything could go at this point, ha ha.The trans already went, that was an awful couple of weeks, it costs $33 to fill up the tank and doesn't go very far. Taking all that into consideration and factoring in that my "new" car cost $850, I think it's a smart move, I hope it is. I'll have more details on the car when I actually see it. I said in this very diary that I'd never go back to a 5-speed again...well, you know how it goes.

My "new" car is in Ohio, so next month, the Jeep will make her last drive. Damn good car, just more than I need. It reminds me of my Dad, it was his truck, its been in the family since new, 1982. So, I got to the DMV around 10:15 to get plates/title. It went really fast and I was out of there by 11:00. I drove to the laundry mat afterwards. While my clothes were washing, I noticed that they didn't include those little stickers that go on the plates. I called my friend Tiffany, she got a new car recently, and she said she has the little stickers. I had to drive back, I don't want to drive around without the little stickers. The guy in the parking lot let me park there the second time for "free," very nice of him, he could have been a jerk and charged me another $7. I asked a guy about the little stickers and he told me that as of October 'whatever,' New Jersey did away with the little stickers. So, there you go. I like saying, little stickers...little stickers...little stickers.

I looked around in Target, finished my laundry, went to the A & P. I pulled up to my apartment and my neighbor told me how much he likes my Jeep. I said, do you want to buy it? People are usually silent after I ask that question, and so it goes.

I played Halo 2 with my nephews, cleaned out my bedroom and relaxed. There was a chance I won the Mega Millions lotto...the winning ticket was sold in NYC. Walter and I were each going to play and split the winnings. But, we didn't win...at least I'm used to being poor, ha ha.

Sunday I was out the door by 10:00. I drove into the city to drop something off at work. I took a gamble and parked under the 'No Standing' sign. I ran in/ran out and was ticket free -- that's the best feeling! I drove to Wal-mart after that. I was walking around and it hit me that I didn't really need anything. As I walked out, they gave me a pass to Sam's Club next door. I decided to check it out, it's pretty cool. I was going to join up for a year but the line was too long, maybe next weekend.2005 is my year to save money, I'm actually going to think about what I buy and why. While I was walking around I got a message that the nephews wanted to play more Halo 2, ha ha. My life is revolving around this x-box live thing, ha ha.

I got back around 12:00. By then, they were offline. I had some Frosted Flakes and geared up for the Steelers game. Man, it was a tough game. The Steelers won but I was pretty nervous.

After the game (4:00), I got up to go for a drive. I walked into my bedroom to change clothes, sat down on my bed and woke up at 7:00! I never take naps but this was pretty peaceful/nice. I woke up to a hungry cat sitting on my stomach. I cooked up some dinner, watched The Simpsons, Pimp My Ride, typed up this diary, a little more x-box live and that was it.

That's all I got! Have a great day.

Sincerely,

Bob
