Well, I'm not sure where to begin? Here we go,Friday was my birthday. I had a great day, received a lot of well wishes and great gifts. Thanks again to everyone!

I celebrated my birthday by asking my friends
(Walter, "Sally", Jay, Paula, Justin, Tiffany and Pam) to join me at:
RED LOBSTER

We had a pretty good time despite the bad service and bad food. I knew what I was in for when I picked the place but I thought it'd be something different - and that it was!
If this photo doesn't say fun, then I don't want to know:
Dive in!

I knew when they put that bib on me, I'd look silly but
I didn't know that it said, "DIVE IN!", until I got home, ha ha. I have to thank everyone again for a great time! Thank you.

At the end of the dinner, there was an option to go out for drinks. I've been down that road before and people usually go through the motions, get one drink and call it a night.
Everyone was pretty stuffed, so I called it a night. Tiffany drove in, so I could get an easy ride back to Hoboken, which is always huge. We parted ways.

Tiffany and I walked a little on the block where she parked her car and it wasn't there. She was running late, didn't pay too much attention to the signs and didn't pay the meter, oops.
They towed her car, her new car. We walked up a few blocks and talked to a police officer. He said it probably wasn't stolen, they probably towed it over to pier 76. Tiffany and I looked at each other and started walking to the West Side of Manhattan.

I have to say that all of this rolled off of Tiffany like nothing. It made the evening very enjoyable, in a very odd way. We walked past a dive bar, walked in and had a few drinks. What the hell, her car isn't going anywhere, ha ha.

We had a fun time talking/hanging out, then we headed over to the pier. The guy at the gate warned us about the long wait we'd have. We get inside of a wood-paneled trailer, Tiffany gives them her info and we wait.
We met a nice couple and the guy was celebrating his birthday too! There were about 5 to 8 people there so it didn't seem like it'd be that long. I saw a guy come in and walk up to the window. The attendant asked the guy what his license plate was and he said, "It's C X something something" Ha ha ha! As soon as I heard that I said to Tiffany,"give me your pen, this is gold!"

Ten minutes later, Tiffany paid her
$185 and we walked to the lot.
Pier 76

The $185 is just the towing fee, she still has a ticket to pay -- insane!
BLOOMBERG! But what can you do? We left the pier and I took this photo of her walking papers:
REDEEMED!

The action of taking that photo, made Tiffany laugh her butt off. Then I took this photo:
Tiffany is losing it!

Tiffany dropped me off around 2 AM. Man, this is a lot of diary and I haven't even got to Saturday and Sunday yet! (I wrote everything up to this point on Friday night)

(I'm writing everything from this point, on Sunday night)
Hey, remember Friday night, that was something, right? I was hoping that the excitment of Friday night would carry over to the rest of the weekend, it didn't, ha ha.

Saturday I woke up around 12:00. That was some good sleeping in!
I was toying around with going to Atlantic City but the late start didn't make me feel like driving. I drove to Jersey City to do my laundry and go to the A & P. They have a Target store over there now, it breaks up the washing/drying cycle very nicely. I didn't buy anything.

I got back around 5 PM,
cooked up a steak and rewatched The Office: Season 1 for a while, then downloaded some music.

Sunday I woke up at 10:00. I broke routine and skipped taking a shower. I had to go into work to pick up a scanner that my bosses, Justin and Eric, were kind enough to get me for my birthday.Traffic on the way home was crazy. They had some kind of race through the Lincoln Tunnel and that caused a major delay. I moved over to 7th Avenue, that was crazy too. It finally cleared up after Madison Square Garden. I got close to the Holland tunnel and saw a very pretty blind woman with her dog.
I don't want to sound like an idiot but there was something very inspiring about seeing her. She was just out there, getting it done.

I got back around 12:00 and then drove to Best Buy. I was looking for a small TV for my bedroom. I brought back an old, small TV from Ohio but it's not in stereo and I can't hook up a DVD player to it.
I like having a TV in the bedroom, I'm thinking that could spell the end to my falling asleep on the sofa. I didn't get anything. I got back around 1:30 and watched football. Then, around 2:30, I had an ichat with my friend Jay.
Jay and Bob ichat

ichatting is great fun! Talking about world events and the election have more impact face to face. OK, talking about other people and TV have more impact face to face, ha ha.

I went for a walk around 4 PM. It was a cold day and I was wearing shorts. I got back around 4:45 and watched a great Steelers game -- they're hot!For dinner I cooked up some pasta with chicken sausage -- it was pretty good. I played with my scanner the rest of the night -- it's amazing! Thanks again Justin and Eric!

So, that was my weekend. I can't believe I didn't get a shower! That's not like me at all.

Have a great Monday.

Sincerely,

Bob
