MY NEW BOAT!
My inflatable-boat arrived - just in time for summer! Oh the tales I'm going to be able to tell once I get it up and running. Sweet!
I also received something lovely from a loyal bobborden.com reader; Karoline. She sent me a big get-well-soon care package. How nice is that? Thank you very much! It was filled with healthy food, a book and some fake flowers. Nice touch with the flowers.

Man, there was some kind of fire or something in Hoboken last night. I got off the bus uptown so I wouldn't get stuck in the traffic jam. There were well over 20 emergency vehicles on the scene. They had the block roped off - I couldn't figure out what happened but, wow, that was something.
If anything good can come from that sort of thing, I did enjoy the longer walk home. I might do that from now on, take the long way home. It felt good.
