Bob got the Led
I listened to that song five times in a row last night. Such a great song. The only other 'rain' song I enjoy is Guns 'N Roses' November Rain but I can only listen to that in November, of course. I totally forgot about Purple Rain! Sorry Prince, next time it rains you're first on the list.
I don't know why I'm thinking of this but years ago there was an English fake band (Think English Spinal Tap) called Bad News. I remember one of the comedians, had a great line that went something like, "Jimmy Page wrote Stairway to Heaven when he was 18, well I was playing it when I was 15, what's that tell you?" Ha ha! I have to get that tape again. I think that was Bad News?
When I got my oil changed this weekend, the man who worked on the car came up to me afterwards and told me he really liked my Jeep. That's happened to me more than once and I have to say I like talking to people about it. Mostly because I get to talk about my Dad, God bless him. I'm trying not to be too attached to a pile of nuts and bolts because I know the old thing is going to blow up someday but it's hard to break those memories. Maybe I should start a diary for myself that I don't post on the internet, ha ha.
I worked yesterday, not much to talk about on that subject. Hey, if you don't subscribe to Late Show's newsletter, what are you waiting for? It has cool information about Late Show and Late Show staffers. Take this week for example, oops, I'm featured this week, how funny is that? Sign up now and receive Bob's No Peek Oven Stew recipe. That's it for me, I'm going to bed.
Stay beautiful,
Bob
