This is my first update with my new super-fast DSL connection, can you see the difference? I have to spend some more time surfing the 'net before I give a review. I like the idea of faster information but do I really need it? The jury is out, as they say.
Sunday night I'm watching The Inlaws, the original, and at the end of the film the dictator shows off his "fine art" collection. His paintings are really black velvet art. The "tacky" stuff you see people selling out of their cars in strip malls. Now here's where I have to be honest, I kind of like those paintings. So, one thing leads to another and I find myself on Ebay placing a bid. I bid $15 and was secure that I'd win because, let's face it, who's going to buy this stuff other than me. Here's an example of the black velvet painting I bid on:

Fine art
Pretty cool, right? Come on! It's a monkey playing poker, I know cool and I'm sorry, that's cool. Anyway, I turn on my computer an hour later and was shocked to see that I was outbid! I couldn't believe it! But it turns out that it was a blessing in disguise because I found a site that does custom Black Velvet work! Checkout thevelvetstore.com -- I could be a black velvet painting! Very exciting. I'd look so cool hanging over my bed.
That's about it for today.
Down for whatever,
