Whew! I was walking out of the office last night and the first thing I said to Dorothy was, "Why didn't anyone tell me it was raining?!" She said, "You didn't know it was raining?" Which is kind of a sad realization, because I wasn't kidding. What's even worse is that I sit next to a window. That was one heck of a rain too - check out my jacket:
Bob's wet coat

But I'm dry now and I can reflect on
my day.

I was watching President Bush at a state dinner over there in England, you know, hoping he'd screw up so we could get it on the show. I didn't see anything but I did hear a "clinking" noise like someone toasted prematurely. But without video, it was nothing. Then a few minutes later, I get an Instant Message from Carl (from my message board and England, ha ha). He said Prince Phillip spilled his glass of wine on the Queen. At that same time, I got different footage of the event and scanned forward to the toast and there it was. It was pretty funny. I showed it to my bosses and in about 30 minutes, it was on the show. Without Carl, I don't know if I would have forwarded to that spot so quickly. So
I dedicate today's diary to my friend from across the pond, Carl - good work!

The first song my ipod played for me when I got home was Kiss's
Black Diamond - Thank you ipod. I love the ipod. I'm going to throw all my Cds in the sewer.

Michael Jackson is in the news again. I wonder how sales of his new Greatest Hits CD will do? I don't know what his deal is but you can't sleep (only talking about sleeping) in the same bed with other kids, I'm sorry, that's wrong. As my Boss Eric has been saying all week, "
Run Blanket, run!" I don't know about you, but I'm looking forward to seeing his kids grown up wearing those masks. Blanket's yearbook photo will look like this:

OK, that's about it for today.

Have a good one,

Bob
