Sweet lord am I tired. Yesteday I had to be at work by 8:30 am. In years past, I used to drive in but haven't the last few years because it's kind of a pain to park and get here before Broadway shuts down.
I was up at 5:25 am and out the door at 6:55. I was a block away from the bus as it pulled up to the stop, damn. I don't know when the next bus was coming. So now I'm at the bus stop alone, never a good sign. I walked to the train station and waited for the train. It finally comes but it's totally packed with old people and kids. Everyone's going to the BIG parade, woo-hoo! It smelled like old people, kids and onion rings. I get off of that hell ride and have to catch the D train to 7th Avenue (53rd Street). I get there and the train is pulling out of the station -- AAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!
I'm waiting for the train and waiting. Now, it's 8:00, I CAN'T be late for work, I will not let that happen. So i left the subway, walked over two blocks and took a cab to 53rd Street. What a mess! People everywhere -- I haven't seen it that crowded it years.
I got to the show and started working. I missed the whole damn parade. Best view in the city and this is all I saw at 4:00:

The parade ended at 12:00
Such is life. I'm kidding of course. I'm not a parade person, all the kids and families and people; too much for Bobby.
So that was my Thanksgiving. That's about it for this edition of bobborden.com. I'm taking a week off to learn about life and maybe in the process, learn a little something about myself. Can I get a witness?
Thank you. See you December 8th.
All my best,
Bob
PS Good luck, Chris and Colleen!
