Bob and his new
Man that was a great start to my day. This weekend I've been debating whether I should go to a casino with Walter and possibly "Sally". But ultimately, I decided I should use my money for things I need, such as a car tune up or a Tivo, ha ha. I may stay indoors and play Splinter Cell or clean my apartment or just play everything by ear. Here's an example; it's midnight on Saturday night and I'm in the mood to gamble. I'm just going to hop in the car and see what happens. I don't care how crazy that sounds; I'm just going to do it - Again, IF the mood hits me. I don't know what I'm talking about.
It's supposed to rain for the next six days! That's a depressing thought. I need to buy a new umbrella. I used to have this sweet black Totes but somebody took it from some birthday thing I attended years ago. Bastards! I may get a new one - maybe I could go umbrella shopping this weekend. Wow, what a boring plan.
After work last night, I had a beer with my friend Tiffany. It was nice to relax with a beer after a long day at the office. I need to do stuff like that more often. It was a weird day yesterday. I woke up slightly late and my morning routine, which usually takes two to three hours, was compressed into ten minutes. I made it on time, which, to me, is the most important thing, but something was always a little off. Again, the Snoop Dogg doll was the exception to the oddness I felt. You know, I told anywhere between 8 to 10 people about my Snoop doll and I got reactions from fake enthusiasm to outright hatred. Here's a newsflash to all the people that judged me: PEOPLE COLLECT THINGS! RELAX! That felt better.
That seems like enough for one day. Hey, it's August - How the heck did that happen already?
Let me leave you with a CD recommendation for the weekend: Fountains of Wayne's Welcome Interstate Managers is pretty darn good. Smart lyrics, great guitar and lovely melodies. What more could you ask for?
Have a bitchin' weekend!
Hugs,
Bob
