I was riding home on the bus last night, twenty dollars in my pocket and then it hit me; I should get a haircut. So off to SuperCuts I went. I sat down in the chair and the stylist asked me, "What would you like me to do?" I responded, make me look like summer. Five minutes later, I walked out of the shop with a haircut so brilliant, it doesn't even have a name. The other stylists even gathered around and cheered us on; it was incredible!

OK, that first paragraph was a little creative writing. Actually, I sat down in the chair and she asked me, "What would you like me to do?" And I responded, I think the guy used a number 2 blade on me last time. But I still like the haircut. In other style news, my new shoes really were comfortable yesterday. Just thought I'd mention that.

When I drove from Ohio to New Jersey last vacation I was listening to some old cassettes from my youth. A stand out in the collection was Institutionalized by Suicidal Tendencies. The song is so intense/funny! It reminded me so much of my musical upbringing that I even called my brother from the road just to play him the song! I was going to mention this in the diary but I didn't think anyone would get it. Then, I'm reading my message board last week and Christina, out of the blue, mentions that exact song! I couldn't believe it. Because of this kismet, I'm naming Christina, my Person of the Week!

If you've ever read my Stuff section you know that I collect rap dolls. Back in January I heard that there was going to be a Snoop Dogg doll. Excited and maybe a little confused, I immediately did a search on the internet that resulted in nothing. My boss, Justin, heard about my search and knew the perfect company for me to contact. Sure enough, he was right on the money! I placed my order but it turns out that it was a pre-order. February, March, April and so on. Finally on Friday, I received shipping notification! Snoop Dogg is on the way! Time for a new feature to BobBorden.com, I call it; Bob Tracks His Snoop Dogg Doll as it Travels Across America. Here we go, as of today my package shipped on July 25, 2003 at 4:01 A.M. - from CA, US - And the status is In Transit and on time. Hmmmm, that wasn't as exciting as I thought. What do I care; I'm not getting paid to write this crap. Wow, I never thought of that before. What am I doing? Oh what the heck, it keeps me off the streets.
