CAR!
I have to say, when I was standing next to the wreckage last night, it was a little weird. Yes, I wasn't going to do anything to save the car but how do I explain this? At 9 am I drove my car into the city; by 7:30 pm, I was riding the bus home. That's how I felt. That's heady stuff.
I called the nice couple I bought the car from two years ago, they were very excited to see the show. I don't mean to pat myself on the back but I thought that was pretty funny that I'd call them up. Imagine having the guy who bought your car from you two years ago, call up out of the blue and say that your old car is going to be smashed on the Late Show, ha ha.
It was a fun, exhausting day. I was supposed to see Mike Watt last night but I changed my mind. I wasn't in the mood for smoke, loud music and the late night. If it were a Friday night or even a Thursday night, that'd be different but a Monday -- that's nuts. That last sentence was a fragment but I'm not going to fix it - Microsoft Word be dammed! I'll see Watt next time around when his new CD comes out.
I think that's it.
Have a great day!
Always,
Bob
