Hello. My weekend started off Friday night when a few of us from work played some informal games of Blackjack. I lost but I had fun. Playing in a friendly game is a hell of a lot cheaper than going to a casino. I got back to Hoboken, bought a burrito, watched some TV and called it a night.
Saturday I woke up around 11. The weather was crappy and I didn't feel like doing anything. I flipped through the channels and then decided to do my laundry. There was hardly anyone in there; it was a laundry dream come true.
After laundry I picked up some Chinese food and watched The Last Detail on DVD. That's a great film. I would describe my weekend up to this point as uneventful but just what the doctor ordered after the whole transmission fiasco from last week. Eating Chinese, watching a great flick and just getting into the relaxation zone.
Sunday I woke up around 10:20 and watched some TV. Beautiful day! The plan for me was to drive over to the A & P. I'm walking towards my car and I see glass in the back seat.

My car was broken
I just put my head down, turned around, walked back inside and called my Mom. I'm not sure why but I just didn't know what else to do? I got some cardboard, duct tape, scissors and headed back outside. They broke the opposite window that was broke in December (Diary Archives 12-11-02)! It's comical at this point, just comical! There was nothing in the car to steal. Again, it was broken into in December, I took everything out of the car, everything! What a dumb mother f#@ker! I noticed some blood around the glove box; the dip shit cut his hand. HA HA HA HA HA HA HA! I HOPE YOU GET AN INFECTION YOU STUPID SHIT!
Anyway, the car that was once cherished has become the car that I will drive until it catches fire. I will not get the transmission fixed and I sure as hell am not putting in another window. I was so close to buying another car too. I guess I still can but I don't know what to think of this area anymore. And I'm guessing that no one will buy a car that needs transmission work and a rear side window?! I didn't think so.
I taped up my window and drove over to the A & P. I ran into my friend Lauren and I couldn't even carry on a conversation. I was still in shock.
I'm putting up this diary Sunday around 3:30pm because I just want the rest of my day to be pressure free. It's probably a safe bet that I just played games and watched TV, ha ha.
Have a great day; please excuse my language and God Bless America.
