I'd like to start off today's diary by acknowledging how bad my Photo of the Day is today. Whew! I just took a photo of my CD player and 17 layers later, I had an Electric Company reject. Keep it simple stupid -- such a true statement. I'm learning all the eccentricities of Photoshop. Cut me some slack!

I was touched at work yesterday -- by the generosity of friends - get your mind out of the gutter! They threw a lovely surprise belated birthday party for me. We had cake and just hung out -- two things that I happen to enjoy. Here's a photo of the festivities:
