I've been a big fan of Iggy Pop for years and years. His music, to me, is awesome. He put out a CD back in 93 or 94 called American Caesar. On the CD he wrote about the music business and if you want to know anything about him, just write and he'll respond. I thought it was PR hype and just wrote something like, "How's it going?" At the very least I was expecting a bumper sticker or some type of label information. I was shocked months later when my self-addressed stamped envelope came back and there was a hand written response. Here, check out the letter:
The Thursday before my vacation Iggy was a guest on the show. I went through the proper channels to see if it would be possible to get my photo taken with a true rock 'n roll icon. I got the OK and soon I was able to show Iggy the letter and ask him if he really wrote it. He said, "Sure, who else would write that?" He was very cool and I was able to get my picture with him.
I was so excited after that! Thanks Iggy! This next photo was taken at my boss's wedding a few months ago. I met Lori through my friend Lee. Check it out.

I've added this picture to this page for two reasons: 1. I look sweet in a tux and 2. Lori is freaking hot! The next pictures are from my vacation, which you read through yesterday.

My brother at the grill.

My nephews and niece -- getting ready to play.

And last, a hot summer night.

Oh, I almost forgot, here's a picture I found in the attic of my first car - a 1977 Buick LeSabre - Sweet ride!.
